CREATOR / FIELD NOTES

How to build a useful influencer media kit

A media kit helps a brand decide whether your content fits a particular brief. Its job is to make your work understandable, not simply to display a large follower count.

Explain who your work is for

Name your topic, content language and audience in the opening sentence. “I help first-time renters organise small spaces” is more informative than “lifestyle creator”. Include the market you cover when relevant.

Date your metrics

Use a defined period from your own platform analytics and state its start and end dates. Keep views, reach and interactions separate. Do not estimate audience data you cannot access or present one viral post as typical performance.

Show three examples

Choose an explanatory post, a product demonstration and a problem-solving piece. Add one sentence about the purpose of each. The brand should understand how you work, rather than expect an identical repeat of past results.

Make the scope discussable

List formats you offer and points to agree: length, draft review, revisions, delivery date and intended usage. Treat gifted products, commissioned production and advertising usage as separate topics in the conversation.

A one-page outline

Draft the following in plain text before adding design. Keep links accessible and update the measurement period when sharing it.

  • Topic, language and audience in one paragraph
  • A few metrics from the same dated period
  • Three content links with their objectives
  • Available formats and a contact channel
  • Last updated date
